Every MIA concourse has food open before a 6 a.m. departure, and in E and F you can eat before security through the night. [Café La Carreta](https://miaairportguide.com/venues/cafe-la-carreta/) there opens at 5 a.m. The earliest listed checkpoints serving these concourses open at different times. [Checkpoint 2 for D](https://miaairportguide.com/security/) and Checkpoint 6 for F open at 3:30 a.m. Checkpoints 4 and 5 for E, and Checkpoint 7 for G, open at 4 a.m. Checkpoint 9 serves H and J and is open 24 hours. If your gate is in D, look at the gate number before crossing the concourse for breakfast. D runs a mile. In E, gates E20 to E33 sit in a separate satellite building reached by the E Train. Check which part of E you’re flying from before walking to E2 for breakfast.
