Landed at MIA tired? Get to your bed first, then pick an easy outing close by: a Cuban meal in Little Havana, a bayfront walk or the beach, and how to get there.

**Sleep first, and save Miami for the morning.** If you’ve landed late or tired, the hotel inside the terminal is a walk from arrivals, and hotels near MIA send shuttles to the curb. The next morning, pick one easy thing: a cafecito on Calle Ocho in Little Havana, a walk by the bay in Coconut Grove, or an hour on the beach.

## Get to bed quickly

| If you’re staying | Fastest way from arrivals |
| --- | --- |
| At the airport | The Miami International Airport Hotel, on Level 2 of Central Terminal E. You can walk there. |
| Near the airport | Your hotel’s shuttle, from the curbside zones on Level 1 |
| In the city or on the beach | A taxi from the stand outside baggage claim, or a ride app on Level 1 or Level 2 |

Landing late? Our guide to [hotels near MIA with a free shuttle](https://miaairportguide.com/guides/airport-hotels-near-mia-with-free-shuttle/) compares each shuttle’s published hours and pickup curb, and what to do if your flight lands late.

## Pick one easy outing

| Outing | Why it works on a tired day | Without a car |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Little Havana | Cuban food from croquetas to a cafecito, and Domino Park right on Calle Ocho | Taxi or ride app |
| Coral Gables | Shops and cafés along Miracle Mile, or a swim at the Venetian Pool, a coral rock quarry | Taxi or ride app |
| Coconut Grove | Bayfront parks, including Regatta Park at Dinner Key Marina on Biscayne Bay | Metrorail from MIA to Coconut Grove station, $2.25 |
| South Beach | Lummus Park, with the Atlantic on one side and Ocean Drive’s Art Deco hotels on the other | Metrobus Route 150 from MIA, $2.25 |

Metrorail and Route 150 both leave from the MIA Metrorail station, which you reach on the [MIA Mover](https://miaairportguide.com/transport/mia-mover/) from the terminal’s 3rd level.
