Bayfront Park, downtown Miami

**Metrorail from MIA and the free Metromover get you to Bayfront Park without sitting in downtown traffic.** Ultra Music Festival runs for three days in late March at the park, 301 N. Biscayne Boulevard. The festival has no parking of its own, and it’d rather you came by train.

## From MIA, take Metrorail and the free Metromover

| Option | Good to know |
| --- | --- |
| Metrorail Orange Line | $2.25. Take the free MIA Mover from Level 3 to the Miami Intermodal Center. On weekdays, trains run through to Government Center until 7:44 p.m. After that and at weekends, change at Earlington Heights. |
| Metromover | Free in downtown and Brickell. Change at Government Center, and Ultra says it’ll drop you right outside the festival. |
| Tri-Rail | Its stations include Miami Airport and MiamiCentral downtown. Ultra says weekend fares are $5 round trip during the festival, with special late trains after each day. |
| Taxi | Metered from MIA, from $2.95 for the first 1/6 mile plus a $2.00 airport fee and a $15 minimum |
| Ride app | Pickup on Level 1 or Level 2 at MIA, at the door your app shows |

Our [Metrorail page](https://miaairportguide.com/transport/metrorail-orange/) has the full timetable, and our [MIA Mover page](https://miaairportguide.com/transport/mia-mover/) shows the first leg. For the taxi, our [fares guide](https://miaairportguide.com/guides/miami-airport-taxi-flat-fares-zone/) works out the meter by distance.

## Coming in from up the coast or with a car

- **By train from up the coast:** Ultra lists trains into MiamiCentral from Orlando, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale and Aventura, and puts Bayfront Park about a mile’s walk from the station. Those are Brightline’s stops, and our guide to [Brightline from Miami](https://miaairportguide.com/guides/brightline-from-miami-where-catch-it-where-it-goes/) lists them with the shuttle from MIA.
- **By car:** Ultra says Metrorail stations have parking garages, so you can drive part of the way and ride the train in.

Staying near MIA instead of downtown? Our [hotel guide](https://miaairportguide.com/hotels/) lists the hotel in the terminal and hotels with an airport shuttle. If you leave a car at MIA for the weekend, our [parking page](https://miaairportguide.com/parking/) has the garage rates.

## Flying home after the festival

Our guide to [how early to arrive at MIA](https://miaairportguide.com/guides/how-early-should-you-arrive-at-miami-international/) gives the checkpoint hours for your concourse. Leaving late at night? Don’t miss the last Metrorail train, which gets into MIA about 12:29 a.m. on weekdays and 12:34 a.m. at weekends. The MIA Mover from the station to the terminal runs until about 4:41 a.m.
