# Which MIA lounges let you pay at the door?

MIA lists day passes at several lounges, but counter sales and most prices need checking. Find the right door and avoid a wasted walk.

A lounge entrance

MIA lists day passes at the Flagship Lounge, both open Admirals Clubs, both Turkish Airlines lounges, the Delta Sky Club, The VIP Lounge, and the Avianca and TAP Portugal Lounge. It doesn’t say which of those desks sell passes to walk-ins, and it publishes no price for any of them.

The only pass price in MIA’s lounge listings is $50 at [Club America F](https://miaairportguide.com/lounges/club-america-f/), and MIA marks that lounge **temporarily closed**, so don’t plan around it.

## Find a pass near your departure gate

Every lounge below is past security, in D, E, H or J, so start with the one in your own concourse. The [terminal map](https://miaairportguide.com/terminals/) shows which concourses connect. MIA’s pass descriptions differ, so the conditions in this table matter more than the word *day*.

| Lounge | MIA’s published pass offer |
| --- | --- |
| Flagship Lounge, across from D30 | Single-visit Flagship Pass, subject to capacity |
| Admirals Club, above D15, and Admirals Club, across from D30 | One-Day Pass, subject to capacity |
| Turkish Airlines Lounge, Concourse E, Level 2 | One-Day Pass for a passenger with a valid same-day boarding pass on any airline |
| Delta Sky Club, Concourse H, Level 2 | Single-visit pass with a same-day boarding pass on Delta or a partner airline |
| Turkish Airlines Lounge, Concourse H, Level 3 | Day pass, subject to capacity |
| The VIP Lounge, near J6 | Three-hour pass, subject to capacity |
| Avianca and TAP Portugal Lounge, across from J6 | One-day pass, subject to availability and capacity |

For some passes, MIA doesn’t spell out whether you must fly a particular airline, so ask the operator about your flight, age, guests, and the pass price before paying. MIA lists these numbers: Turkish E at 786-690-4444, Turkish H at 305-869-4223, The VIP Lounge at 786-265-5750, and Avianca and TAP at 305-869-3604. For American’s D lounges, start with American’s MIA lounge page and its access link.

If you see a precise Admirals Club or Flagship price on a travel site, treat it as that site’s figure, since neither MIA’s directory nor American’s MIA page publishes one.

## Capacity can end the sale

Where the table says “subject to capacity”, MIA publishes no wait time, reservation guarantee or priority order for paid visitors. Turkish E and Delta H list no capacity condition, though that doesn’t promise a seat either.

Seats may be scarce even when admission is possible. One traveler reported finding Turkish E crowded and doubting that two companions could sit together. Before buying two passes, ask whether both of you can enter now and whether you can find seats together.

Don’t confuse a cardholder’s paid guest with a public day pass. One traveler reported paying for a guest at MIA’s Centurion Lounge and joining a waitlist, despite the lounge looking quiet on arrival. The Centurion Lounge still needs eligible access first. American Express sets that guest fee at $50 for each guest 18 and over and $30 for each child aged 2 to 17, for Platinum and Business Platinum cardholders.

## These doors have no general paid walk-up offer

MIA lists no public day pass for the [American Express Centurion Lounge](https://miaairportguide.com/lounges/amex-centurion-lounge-d12/) near D12 or the [British Airways Lounge](https://miaairportguide.com/lounges/british-airways-lounge-e/) in Concourse E. The British Airways listing names qualifying cabin and status access. The Centurion listing provides no cash-entry offer. If either is your target, check its operator’s access rules rather than counting on payment at the desk.

The [Military Hospitality Lounge](https://miaairportguide.com/lounges/military-hospitality-lounge-e/) in Concourse E requires eligible military travelers and dependents to show military ID and same-day travel. The [Consular Lounge](https://miaairportguide.com/lounges/consular-lounge-f/) in Concourse F is reserved for foreign delegations. Neither lists a paid walk-up option. MIA also marks the [Admirals Club E](https://miaairportguide.com/lounges/aa-admirals-club-e/) temporarily closed, despite describing a pass for it. The [Executive Conference Center](https://miaairportguide.com/lounges/mia-hotel-executive-conference-center-e/) at the MIA Hotel is bookable event space, not a lounge day pass.

Delta Sky Club H’s listing gives no price or counter-sale method for its pass, so confirm the offer with Delta before treating it as a fallback. American and MIA also post different hours for the D15 and D30 Admirals Clubs. Check American’s MIA page for the latest hours before you go.

## Before you walk over

- Find your departure gate on your boarding pass. Compare it with the lounge location in the table. If you’re connecting, check the [connection guide](https://miaairportguide.com/connections/) before heading toward another concourse.
- Ask the lounge whether it is selling single visits **now**, the total price for everyone in your party, and how long the pass lasts. If you need a shower or a quiet place to work, ask whether that facility is available with the pass.
- If the lounge turns you away, the [food and shops directory](https://miaairportguide.com/dining/) lists the restaurants and their hours in your concourse.
