What MIA Airport Guide collects when you read a page or write to us, why, and how to ask what we hold about you or have it deleted.

## Who runs this site

MIA Airport Guide is published by Mastering Reselling Solutions, a company based in Alberta, Canada. We're responsible for the personal information this site handles. Questions about it go to [hello@miaairportguide.com](mailto:hello@miaairportguide.com).

## What happens when you read a page

You don't need an account. We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see how people use the site. It sets first-party cookies called _ga and _ga_68EVLE8QT2 in your browser only where Analytics runs, as described under Analytics below. It records the pages you read, the site that sent you, your device and browser type, and actions such as signing up for fare alerts. It uses your IP address to work out your approximate country, region and city. This guide shares one Analytics property with flywhenever.com, which is run by the same company. If you continue there from this guide, a link parameter called _gl carries your Analytics identifier so the visit is counted as one visit. If you sign up for fare alerts, your Analytics identifier is sent with your signup to flywhenever.com. Analytics requests may pass through this site's own domain using Cloudflare's Google tag gateway, but the data goes to Google. To count visits, the pages run a visit counter that sets no cookies and keeps no profile of you. It records the page read, the site that sent you, your country and your type of device, and we see only totals. Like any website, it runs on a web host that receives your IP address and the details of each request, to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse.

## Analytics

We use Google Analytics only for analytics, with advertising features and Google signals turned off. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. In the United States and Canada outside Quebec, Analytics runs from the first page. You can turn it off and remove its cookies with the [Your privacy choices](https://miaairportguide.com/privacy-choices/) link or a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. In Quebec, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and everywhere outside the United States and Canada, Google Analytics stores no cookies at all.

## What the pages don't load

Apart from Google Analytics as described above, the pages load no tracking pixels or advertising scripts, and fonts, images and maps are served from this site itself.

## When you write to us

If you email us, we keep your message and your address so we can answer you, and so a correction we make can be traced back to the report that prompted it. We don't add you to any list, and we don't share your message with anyone.

## Links to other sites

Our pages link to the airport, airlines, transit agencies and other operators, because they are the sources of what we publish. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and those apply once you follow a link.

## Children

This site is written for travelers and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

## Your choices

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to [hello@miaairportguide.com](mailto:hello@miaairportguide.com). We will ask you to confirm a request from the email address it concerns, and someone you authorise can ask for you. We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or to the data protection authority where you live.

## Who is responsible

The person in charge of personal information at Mastering Reselling Solutions is the Privacy officer, reachable at [hello@miaairportguide.com](mailto:hello@miaairportguide.com). Questions and complaints go to the same address.

## Changes

This version takes effect on 27 October 2026. When we change the policy, we update this date.
