## Assistance inside the airport

Between the gate and the curb, Miami International Airport publishes:

- **Wheelchair / mobility device charging stations**: Concourses D, E, F, G, H and J; Pre-Security in the D and H International Arrivals. 10 stations
- **Wheelchair service**: All terminals, via airlines. request through the airline. The airport says wheelchair service typically has delays at peak periods. If the airline does not provide the help you asked for, ask to speak with its Complaint Resolution Officer (CRO). Every security checkpoint has a wheelchair-accessible point into the line. At Customs, fill in the airport's accessibility lane form at least 48 hours before arrival, then find a Miami-Dade Aviation Department employee, state your name and they direct you to the lane; the form does not guarantee expedited service or a queue jump. The paths from the garages are carpeted or slip-resistant tile on the Level 3 bridges; the street-level arrival and departure paths are concrete or asphalt, and manual wheelchair users may find them bumpy. For help filing an ADA complaint, or another way to file, call the airport's ADA Coordinator at 305-869-1859. The airport emails an acknowledgement within five business days and responds within 15 business days.
- **Aira vision assistance**. For passengers who are blind or have low vision: an Aira agent, through the Aira app, helps you find your way and read flight screens.
- **TSA Cares helpline**. For passengers who need help or have concerns about screening: call TSA Cares at (855) 787-2227. TSA asks you to contact TSA Cares at least 72 hours before your scheduled departure.
