Getting to the gate and arriving

Use the D Skytrain for Concourse D

The Skytrain runs above Concourse D and has four stations, reached from the concourse by elevators. It is separate from the MIA Mover to the rental-car center.

The published station guide groups D1–D19 at station 1, D20–D25 at station 2, D26–D39 and access toward E at station 3, and D40–D60 at station 4. These are orientation labels, not a list of gates currently in use. Check your assigned gate and airport signs before boarding.

Arriving into North Terminal

Domestic baggage claim is on Level 1. International arrivals through D also reach the arrivals area on Level 1; this differs from international arrivals through J in South Terminal.

Continuing toward Central Terminal

The terminal map labels a D–E connector. That relationship helps identify the neighboring concourse; it is not a guarantee that a particular passenger can use it without security or immigration checks.

For movement between terminal areas, MIA documents moving walkways on Level 3. Use the connection guide to distinguish changing concourses from an international-arrival transfer.

Traveling with an animal

An indoor animal-relief area is listed after security near D34. An outdoor relief area is listed on Level 1 near Door 5. Use the accessibility guide for assistance planning; a mapped facility is not a live availability report.

E’s main concourse and satellite building

The E Train connects the main E concourse with its separate satellite building. It is not the D Skytrain, and it does not take you to the rental-car center.

Use the gate on your boarding pass and the airport’s signs to choose the correct part of E. The orientation map does not report train operation or your flight’s current gate.

Arrivals and terminal levels

Domestic baggage claim is on Level 1. International arrivals through E also arrive on Level 1. The principal ticketing and checkpoint frontage is on Level 2; moving walkways between terminal areas are on Level 3.

Trains, buses and shuttles

These services board at or beside Concourse D and Concourse E, where American Eagle (Envoy) flies from.

Parking and pickup

The airport lists these car parks for Concourse D and Concourse E.
