Charging and power
Miami International Airport doesn't say where to find charging and power. What it does publish, and what to do.
More in our guide: Charging your phone at MIA.
What MIA publishes, and what to do
- Miami publishes charging stations only for electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters, in Concourses D, E, F, G, H and J.
- For a place to charge a phone or laptop, ask at a Tourist Information Counter or call 305-876-7000.
- MIA says it was the first U.S. airport to install wheelchair charging stations airport-wide: ten stations that connect to electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
- Two of those stations stand before security, in the D and H International Arrivals.
- Each Wait n' Rest private room after security in Concourse D lists a charging station, and the rooms are booked by the hour.
- If you need a shop that sells chargers, the official MIA app finds the closest shopping and dining, with walk times.
- For questions about the wheelchair stations, call the airport's ADA coordinator at 305-869-1859 or email [email protected].
