Getting to the terminal
The airport does not say where Park 1 is, what it charges or which terminal it serves. Ask the parking office at 305-876-7536, or call 305-876-7000 and press 4. Park 1 appears in the airport's accessible-parking table, beside Dolphin, Flamingo, Ibis, High Vehicle and Economy Park & Ride, and nowhere else on its parking page: no lot description, no rate table and no payment list names it.
Accessible parking
  • Ground Level & Level 2
  • Van accessible Ground Level. Vehicles with disabled and stroller permits may use the accessible areas the airport lists. Miami-Dade County ordinance has guests with a disabled parking permit or license tag pay standard rates, with two hours complimentary
  • At the exit, press the telephone icon on the kiosk and tell the representative. Parking is free for vehicles permanently fitted with specialized equipment such as ramps, lifts, or foot or hand controls, for vehicles with a Florida Toll Exemption permit, and for Florida Disabled Veteran plates when the veteran is in the vehicle. Permit parking for disabled and stroller permits also stands near the moving sidewalks on the 3rd level of the Dolphin, Flamingo and Ibis garages

Computed by us from the published rates: each started 24 hours at the lot's daily rate, plus the per-transaction fee where the airport states one ($0.35 at MIA Economy Park-and-Ride). A stay under a day is charged by the hour or increment and can cost less. This is arithmetic on the published rates, not a quote.
