Bars at MIA and which stay open latest

Find MIA bars by concourse, their listed closing times, and your options when a delayed flight outlasts them.

The latest a public bar stays open at MIA is 10:30 p.m., and only four bars in Concourse D keep going that late. If your flight leaves from another concourse, the table below has the bars closer to you. Last orders may come before closing.

Choose a bar near your gate

Every bar in this table is after security, and the times are the airport directory’s daily closing times. Each name opens that bar’s page, with its gate and full hours.

For an earlier stop in H, Gilbert’s Food Bar (Post-Security) is on Level 2 after security. It’s open daily from 4:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., but its page doesn’t say whether it pours alcohol.

Bars before security, for meeting someone

Air Margaritaville is on Level 2 at the MIA Hotel in Central Terminal E, before security. It closes at 10 p.m., the same time the restaurant’s own site gives. Pick it if you’re meeting someone who isn’t flying or you haven’t cleared security yet.

Chili’s Too is before security in Central Terminal G and closes at 8 p.m. It’s a restaurant first, and its page doesn’t mention a bar.

Already through security? A drink landside means clearing a checkpoint again to get back. Checkpoint 5, for E and D, runs until 10:45 p.m. Checkpoint 6 serves F to the same time. Checkpoint 7, for G, shuts at 8:15 p.m., and our security page has every checkpoint’s hours.

If the flight slips past closing

After 10:30 p.m., no public bar at MIA is open. A few coffee and fast-food counters in D, E, F and G serve until 11 p.m., and our food directory shows the 24-hour counters on each side of security for a longer wait.

If you have lounge access, the British Airways Lounge has a staffed bar near E20. It is on Level 4 of the Central Terminal E Satellite, after security, and is open daily from 1 to 10:30 p.m. Entry comes with a British Airways First or Club World ticket, or with eligible BA Silver or oneworld Sapphire status and above. No day-pass price is published.
