Getting to the Miami Grand Prix from the airport
The Miami Grand Prix runs at the Miami International Autodrome. Brightline to Aventura with the free shuttle, rideshare lots and parking.

Take Brightline to Aventura and the free shuttle to the circuit, and leave the car behind. The Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix runs in early May at the Miami International Autodrome, and the race’s offices are at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. Brightline doesn’t stop at MIA, so your first leg is Brightline’s own shuttle from the airport to MiamiCentral downtown.
Brightline and the free shuttle skip the race traffic
| Option | How it works | What you pay from MIA |
|---|---|---|
| Brightline plus shuttle | Brightline’s MIA Airport Connector to MiamiCentral, the train north to Aventura, then a free shuttle to the Autodrome that leaves 10 minutes after each train arrives | $12 plus a $3 fuel surcharge for the Connector, then the train fare Brightline quotes when you book |
| Ride app or a drop-off | Drivers drop you at an off-site rideshare lot, and a free shuttle runs from there to the Autodrome | The app’s price to the rideshare lot the event names, shown before you confirm |
| Taxi | Metered from the arrivals curb to the rideshare lot or your hotel | $2.95 for the first 1/6 mile, $0.85 for each further 1/6 mile up to a mile, then $0.55, plus a $2.00 airport fee and a $15 minimum |
| Drive and park | All parking is sold in advance by the event, and its parking gates don’t take cash | The price of your parking pass |
The event’s page doesn’t give a trip time from MIA. On the Brightline route, you’ll need time for the Connector, the train and up to 10 minutes’ wait for the race shuttle at Aventura. A taxi also charges $0.40 a minute while it sits in race traffic.
Going home, the F1 Miami Grand Prix sends you to the Brightline shuttles at Lot 16, on the south side of the Autodrome. For its own events, Hard Rock Stadium runs the same Aventura shuttle and asks you to leave the stadium at least an hour before your train. Neither page has a race-day train timetable, so you’ll want to settle your return train when you book with Brightline.
From the airport, start with Brightline’s shuttle
The MIA Airport Connector boards on Level 2 departures and runs to MiamiCentral, where you’ll change to the train north to Aventura. Our guide to Brightline from Miami has the shuttle doors and the train’s stops, and our Brightline shuttle page has its hours. Our taxi page has the full meter rates, and our ride app page shows where app pickups wait at MIA.
Accessible parking and the flight home
The event keeps accessible parking in Lot 35 for holders of a disabled parking placard with matching photo ID, first come, first served. Accessible shuttles run to drop-off points near the ticket zones. On race days, its Mobility Assistance Hotline is (305) 943-6804.
Flying out after the race? Our guide to how early to arrive at MIA gives the published checkpoint hours for your concourse, and MIA keeps disabled-permit spaces on the ground level and Level 3 of its Dolphin, Flamingo and Ibis garages.
