Miami Open tennis from the airport
The Miami Open is played at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens each March. Rideshare gates, prepaid parking, and why Brightline's stadium shuttle doesn't run for it.

Take a ride app or a taxi, or buy parking before you go. The Miami Open is played over about two weeks in March at Hard Rock Stadium, 347 Don Shula Drive in Miami Gardens. The tournament says parking is limited and strongly recommends buying it in advance. Hard Rock Stadium’s free shuttle from Brightline’s Aventura station does not run during the Miami Open.
A ride app or prepaid parking works best
| Option | Good to know |
|---|---|
| Ride app | Enter through Gate 15, 16, 17 or 18. Drop-off is at Gate 18 and pickup at Gate 17. |
| Taxi | Metered from MIA, from $2.95 for the first 1/6 mile plus a $2.00 airport fee |
| Drive and park | The tournament’s parking page lists single-day Yellow parking at $35 prepaid, $40 by SunPass and $45 by card on the day. The lots take no cash. |
| Brightline | Ride to Aventura, then take a rideshare to the stadium, because the free shuttle is off for the tournament |
The tournament’s parking FAQ quotes lower Yellow Lot prices than its parking page, so go by the price you see at checkout. All parking is first come, first served, and a shuttle runs from the more distant lots. Whichever way you arrive, the entrance to Stadium Court and the tennis campus is at the stadium’s southeast corner.
From MIA, rent a car or book a ride
If you’re driving, pick up at the Rental Car Center, one free MIA Mover ride from Level 3, between the Dolphin and Flamingo garages. The tournament’s directions bring Yellow Lot drivers off Florida’s Turnpike at Exit 2X, or in from 27th Avenue, northbound or southbound. Ask the rental counter how tolls are billed, and see our guide to tolls and SunPass in a rental car.
For a taxi, our taxi fares guide works out the meter by distance. Ride apps pick up at MIA on Level 1 or Level 2, and our ride app page shows where to wait.
