Keys Shuttle
Door-to-door vans carry up to 12 passengers. Leaving MIA at 11:00 a.m., the van reaches Key West about 3:00 p.m.; the 3:00 p.m. departure arrives about 7:00 p.m., and the 7:00 p.m. departure about 11:00 p.m. A reservation is required in both directions, online or on (305) 289-9997. Fly to Key West (EYW)
American Airlines flies nonstop from MIA to Key West (EYW) in the airport's September 2026 list of cities served. It is the only airline listed on that route. If your ticket is with American, connecting through MIA on one booking avoids a ground leg altogether.
FlixBus
FlixBus lists Key West among its routes from Miami. Buses leave from the bays at the Miami Intermodal Center, a MIA Mover ride from the terminal's third level. FlixBus sells its fares and shows the day's departures on its own site.
Rental car
The Rental Car Center is a free MIA Mover ride from the third level and is open 24 hours, though some operators close between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. Companies in the center are ACE, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Carnival Rent A Car, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Payless, Royal, Sixt and Thrifty.
